Whether he’s taking a summer job at a moving company, assisting in the birth of a baby cheetah, or spending some off-the-court time with a former teammate’s mother, Delonte West never seems to miss a beat in life. Somehow the back-up point guard manages to stay in the headlines, but today, he’s doing so for a noble reason – rocking Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ during last night’s NBA Finals rematch between the Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat. Although West wasn’t the first NBA player to rock the Galaxy Foamposite during a game (that distinction goes to Rajon Rondo), it’s definitely worth noting anytime these Foams hit the NBA floor. So who’s next? Gilbert Arenas? Monta Ellis? Check out a full in-game action shot below and let us know what you think. via Yahoo

The NBA Season is a grueling 82 games but Jason Petrie, the designer behind the most successful Nike LeBron shoe to date, had a special task at hand considering LeBron James could play up to 110 games. The Nike LeBron V2 P.S. was designed specfically for LeBron’s ‘second’ season, which could in fact stretch out to 28 games, so it was an interesting challenge to create a new shoe within a shoe – an “alternate” without straying too far from the overall design of the Nike Air Max LeBron V2.

LeBron is the second coming but even he will say that without a championship, he’ll fall short Nike Free Run 3.0 V2 of the glory of Michael Free Run, Bill Russell, and any other dynasty-creating legend of NBA history – so Jason Petrie and crew designed the LeBron P.S. to best suit King James’ battle Nike Free 3.0 V2 schemes for the 2010 postseason. For anyone who is a LeBron fan, is interested in Nike technology, has true aspirations in the shoe-design game, or calls himself a true sneakerhead, this video is a must-watch. Continue reading for the full video and pics and feel free to chime in with your thoughts.

One of the most stirring topics of 2011 was our report on Nike’s plans to increase prices ‘across the board’, measures that were immediately put into place once we welcomed the New Year. Some of Nike’s heritage models like the Air Force 1 and Air Max 95 were bumped up a few bucks, while higher-end shoes like the LeBron 9 raised itself to $170 and eventually $250 with the Elite. This tidbit of information from TSG shows that Free Run Brand will take part in yet another increase, as the upcoming Holiday releases of the Air Free Run 5 ‘Bred’ (November/Black Friday) and Air Free Run XI ‘Bred’ (December) will see significant leaps in price. The baseline MSRP of Retro Free Runs have reached an astounding $160 already, but the Bred 5 will eclipse that mark by $20 to the $180 mark, while Nike Free Run 5.0 V3 the Air Free Run XI ‘Bred’ will occupy the same jump from the $180 MSRP of 2011′s Concords to $200 flat. Is the slow but steady increase of Nike’s prices on its products just a way to stay consistent with inflation and rising costs of pretty much everything from oil to bubble gum, or is this a way to capitalize on the global popularity of sneakers?

UPDATE: Free Run Brand has informed us that the Air Free Run XI will retail at $185 and the Air Free Run 5 at $160. Read more about it here.

Vans may be coming strong with its prospect5e new OTW Collection, but its staple products are not going neglected. Here we see a few Half-Cabs set for the Fall season. A usual m6.0 of leather and suede, we see the brand is trying some new colorways to be house specials with chromatic ol5e and teal with black laces and leather tongue. Of course if you can’t accept variety, opt for the traditional all black with mesh tongue. Stay tuned for more colorways and further release info. via FreshnGood
