The term ‘AC’ is one we’ve heard quite a lot from Jordan Brand over the last few years. AC signifies ‘Auto Clave’, which is the style of the midsole seen here – a smooth, flat base that instantly transforms a sporty shoe into a lifestyle option. Next up on Jordan Brand’s ‘AC’ transformation is the Air Jordan 3; the first thing to notice is the obvious lower cut of the Nike Free 6.0 shoe, which forced a slight redesign particularly on the heel (an interesting full-elephant) as well as on the base of the lace placket. Nike just released a trio of similarly colored basketball retros, each of them dressed up in some crazy blue and pink mixtures.
